In real-world applications, voltage instability is a primary cause of electrical equipment failure. The AVS-2000 is designed for centralized voltage regulation of medium-power loads; a single unit can support the combined needs of a small supermarket (checkout systems, freezers, and lighting) or a studio (multiple computers, printers, and air conditioners).
Its MCU core monitors the input voltage dozens of times per second. When voltage fluctuations occur, 2KVA Automatic Voltage Regulator automatically switches toroidal transformer taps to maintain a stable output between 180V and 255V. A specially designed 6/180-second startup delay prevents surge damage to compressor-based loads immediately after voltage recovery.
For equipment requiring 24-hour continuous operation (such as servers or surveillance systems), the AVS-2000 ensures long-term stability thanks to its low-loss toroidal transformer and intelligent temperature-controlled fan (optional).
2KVA Automatic Voltage Regulator accepts an input voltage of 130–270VAC, making it suitable for areas with severe grid fluctuations, such as rural locations, older residential complexes, or industrial zones. It automatically cuts off the output when the voltage drops below 130V or exceeds 270V to protect downstream equipment, and automatically restarts once the voltage stabilizes, requiring no manual intervention.
Utilizes a toroidal autotransformer with seven independent taps and relays to achieve regulation steps of approximately 15–20V per stage, resulting in an output accuracy of ±8%. Compared to servo-motor-type stabilizers, it offers faster response times (<40ms) and eliminates mechanical wear.
· Efficiency >96% with low internal heat generation
· Low magnetic leakage; does not interfere with nearby electronic equipment
· Quiet operation (<40dB); suitable for office or retail environments
· Over-temperature shutdown: Automatically cuts output if internal temperature reaches ≥120°C
· Short-circuit protection: 12A resettable circuit breaker/fuse
· Overload protection: Cuts power if load exceeds 1200W for several seconds
· Over-voltage/Under-voltage protection: Cuts power if output voltage falls outside the 180–255V range
· Delay selection: 6 seconds (standard equipment) or 180 seconds (air conditioners/refrigerator compressors)
The front panel features separate voltmeters for input and output voltages, allowing real-time monitoring of mains power quality and stabilization performance. Three-color LEDs—Power (Green), Delay (Yellow), and Fault (Red)—provide clear status indication at a glance.
Dimensions: 330×225×265mm; Net weight: 4.9kg; suitable for desktop or floor placement. Features front-and-rear ventilation and supports stacking (units from the same series can be stacked; total power load must be considered).

Simultaneous protection for: POS computer (300W) + 2 freezers (600W) + lighting (200W). The AVS-2000 delivers 1200W of continuous power and handles peak startup surges of up to 2000VA, making it a highly cost-effective choice.
A single 1.5 HP air conditioner has an operating power of approximately 1000W, with a startup surge reaching up to 3000W. The 2KVA Automatic Voltage Regulator can power one 1.5 HP air conditioner, a refrigerator, and a router simultaneously. It is recommended to set the air conditioner startup delay to 180 seconds.
Equipment such as computers, high-end monitors, inkjet/laser printers, and scanners is sensitive to voltage fluctuations. The AVS-2000 provides a pure sine wave output (without waveform distortion), preventing issues like printer paper jams or image distortion.
Devices such as small X-ray machines, dental chairs, and oxygen concentrators require stable voltage. The AVS-2000 complies with IEC standards; using it in conjunction with a medical-grade isolation transformer is recommended.
When generator output is unstable, connecting the AVS-2000 smooths the voltage waveform, protecting downstream precision equipment. Suitable for applications such as food trucks and outdoor events.

Note: Inductive loads (motors, compressors) have startup currents 3–7 times their rated value; a 50% power margin is recommended.
KTAC offers OEM/ODM services for the AVS series, including options for housing color, logo silk-screening, output socket types (Chinese, US, EU standards, etc.), input cable length, and preset delay times. Please contact us for a customized solution.
A 2 HP air conditioner has an operating power of approximately 1500W and a startup surge of about 4000W. The AVS-2000's maximum output current limit (12A circuit breaker) may cause the unit to trip during startup. We recommend choosing the AVS-3000 (16A) or a higher-capacity model.
The AVS series utilizes a relay-based tap-switching voltage regulation design; the output range is 180–255V with an accuracy of ±8%. For precision equipment requiring 220V ±3%, a servo-type voltage stabilizer or an online UPS is recommended.
This is not recommended. Connecting two units in series can lead to mismatched response speeds and potential oscillation. If cleaner voltage is required, a filter can be installed downstream of the AVS-2000.
Measure the outlet voltage with a multimeter; installation is strongly recommended if the voltage exceeds 240V during the day or drops below 190V at night, or if you observe flickering lights or frequent computer restarts.
· Avoid placing the unit near heat sources (e.g., heaters, generator exhaust pipes).
· Leave a 10cm clearance on the sides and back for heat dissipation.
· Do not stack heavy objects on top of the unit.
· It is recommended to install a Type C circuit breaker (16A rated) at the input.
Turn off the power switch and unplug the input cord. Power on the unit once every three months to maintain the health of the internal capacitors.
