What are the key advantages?
1. Precise MCU Control
This 1kVA automatic voltage regulator employs advanced microcontroller circuitry to monitor input voltage in real-time and stabilize output voltage with ±8% accuracy, ensuring high-quality power delivery to the load equipment.
2. Zero-Crossing Switching Technology
Relay switching based on the current zero-crossing point effectively minimizes switching sparks and inrush current, enhancing the safety of both the regulator itself and the connected loads.
3. High-Efficiency Toroidal Transformer
The use of a toroidal autotransformer—characterized by compact size, light weight, high efficiency, and low magnetic leakage—ensures quiet and reliable operation of the entire unit.
4. Multiple Protection Mechanisms
· Over-temperature protection: Automatically shuts off output when internal temperature reaches ≥120°C.
· Overload protection: Automatically cuts off power when the rated capacity is exceeded.
· Over-voltage/Under-voltage protection: Automatically cuts off output if input voltage drops below 180V or rises above 255V; automatically restarts once voltage returns to the normal range.
5. Intuitive Indicator Panel
Features Green (Power), Yellow (Delay), and Red (Fault/Protection) LEDs, along with LED displays for input and output voltage (1 input + 1 output) to monitor voltage status in real-time.
6. Safe Delay Start-up
Selectable 6-second or 180-second safety delay; prevents compressor-based loads (such as refrigerators and air conditioners) from restarting immediately after voltage recovery, thereby avoiding damage.
Product Applications
1. Home Appliance Protection: Provides stable voltage for refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, air conditioners, fans, etc., preventing compressor damage or operational issues caused by voltage fluctuations.
2. Office Equipment: Protects precision electronic devices—such as computers, printers, copiers, and monitors—from voltage surges or drops.
3. Small Commercial Venues: Ensures continuous, stable operation for multiple electrical devices in environments like convenience stores, small supermarkets, and hair salons.
4. Industrial Control Equipment: Supplies regulated power to PLCs, small motors, control cabinets, etc., reducing downtime or malfunctions caused by unstable voltage.
5. Rural and Remote Areas: Serves as a household voltage regulator in areas with poor grid power quality, enhancing overall electrical safety.

FAQ
1. What is the maximum load capacity for the AVS-1000?
The rated output power is 600W (active power). Given the high starting currents associated with inductive loads (such as motors and compressors), it is recommended that the total load power does not exceed 500W, or that a higher-capacity model (such as the AVS-1500 or AVS-2000) be selected.
2. Why is the rated capacity 1000VA but the power output only 600W?
This is determined by the power factor of 0.6. For resistive loads (such as electric heaters), the actual usable power is close to 1000W; however, for inductive loads (such as motors), the actual usable power is 600W. This is a standard rating method in the industry.
3. What happens if the input voltage falls below 130V or rises above 270V?
When the input voltage falls outside the 130V–270V range, the voltage regulator detects an abnormality and cuts off the output, while the red fault indicator lights up. Once the input voltage returns to the normal range, the regulator automatically restarts and resumes normal output.
4. Should I choose a 6-second or 180-second safety delay?
If the load includes equipment with compressors, such as refrigerators or air conditioners, a 180-second delay is recommended to prevent damage caused by the compressor starting immediately before internal pressure has equalized. For purely resistive or electronic loads, the 6-second delay can be selected.
5. What is the difference between the AVS-1000 and a UPS?
The AVS is a voltage regulator; it only stabilizes voltage and does not provide battery backup power. If the mains power fails, the AVS immediately stops outputting power. If continued power supply is required during an outage, a UPS should be used.
6. Can multiple 1KVA Automatic Voltage Regulator units be connected in parallel to increase power capacity?
Parallel connection is not recommended. If the load power exceeds 600W, please select a single AVS model with a higher power rating (such as the AVS-3000 or AVS-5000).
