The AK 1000VA Offline UPS is designed for users who require both higher capacity and longer runtime. With dual batteries, it offers nearly double the backup energy of single‑battery models, making it suitable for powering three to four desktop computers, networking equipment, and external storage devices simultaneously.
The CPU‑controlled integrated power board ensures stable output, while the laminated power transformer – made of brand‑new silicon steel and high‑quality winding – guarantees high efficiency and robust power capability. The unit also features an optional communication port (RS232/USB/RJ45) for advanced power management and remote monitoring.
Two 12V/7Ah batteries connected in series provide 24V nominal battery voltage, significantly increasing stored energy. This translates to longer backup times – up to 15‑20 minutes at half load – allowing you to complete critical tasks without rushing.
The EI‑type transformer, constructed from premium silicon steel and copper windings, minimises losses and delivers stable power even under heavy loads. This design ensures low heat generation and long operational life.
With 600W capacity, the AK 1000VA Offline UPS can support multiple monitors, a powerful workstation, a NAS, and a network switch all at once. Its overload protection kicks in automatically to prevent damage from excessive loads.
Optional RS232, USB, or RJ45 communication ports allow integration with UPS management software, enabling automatic shutdown of connected devices during extended outages – preventing data loss and system corruption.
1. Small Office Workstations – Protect two desktop PCs, monitors, and shared printers.
2. Network Hubs – Keep routers, switches, and NAS devices online during brief outages.
3. Retail Checkout Counters – Ensure POS terminals and barcode scanners remain powered to avoid sales disruption.
4. Security Systems – Maintain CCTV cameras and DVRs recording during power dips.

KTAC provides OEM and ODM customization options for the AK 1000VA Offline UPS to meet your specific brand and application requirements.
Logo printing on the front panel and custom label design to match your brand identity.
Retail-ready custom boxes with your artwork, branding, and product specifications printed on the packaging.
Optional RS232, USB, or RJ45 communication ports can be pre-installed at the factory, with compatible management software included upon request.
Output voltage settings, alarm volume levels, and AVR sensitivity can be adjusted to suit specific regional requirements or application needs.
Customization orders require minimum quantities. Typical lead time for custom configurations is 10 to 15 days.
All AK series UPS units come with a 24-month standard warranty. Select models qualify for an extended 36-month warranty upon request, providing long-term protection for your investment.
KTAC has been designing and manufacturing power protection equipment since 2004. This continuous experience in the power supply industry means we understand the real-world reliability requirements of UPS systems across different applications and regions.
With our own production facilities and in-house engineering team, we control every stage of manufacturing from component sourcing to final assembly. This integration ensures consistent quality and faster response to customization requests.
Our products are exported to more than 30 countries across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Major distributors in Southeast Asia, South Africa, and the UK trust KTAC for their UPS supply needs.
Every AK-1000VA unit undergoes 100% functional testing before shipment, including AVR calibration, battery charge/discharge verification, and full-load output testing. This ensures each unit meets our performance specifications before it reaches you.
Yes, as long as total power draw stays under 600W. It is suitable for tower servers and small rack‑mount systems.
Typically 8 hours to reach 90% capacity. The smart charger prevents overcharging and extends battery life.
Standard models come with no communication port, but optional RS232, USB, or RJ45 with management software can be added – please specify at order.
Laser printers and copiers have high inrush current during startup, often 5 to 10 times their rated power. While the AK-1000VA can handle short surges, we recommend connecting laser printers to a separate surge protector rather than the UPS battery output. Inkjet printers and small multifunction devices are generally safe to connect, provided the total load stays below 600W.
The AK-1000VA uses dual batteries in series within a single unit, providing coordinated battery management, single-point monitoring, and a compact footprint. Two separate UPS units would require separate power cords, occupy more space, and lack synchronized shutdown capabilities. The integrated design also ensures balanced charging between the two batteries, extending overall battery life.
A continuous beep indicates the battery voltage has dropped to the low-voltage cutoff point. The UPS has automatically shut down to prevent deep discharge damage to the batteries. When mains power is restored, the UPS will resume charging automatically. No manual intervention is required. If the continuous beep persists after power restoration, please contact our support team.
Yes, the AK-1000VA is designed with user-replaceable batteries. The front panel can be opened to access the two 12V/7Ah batteries. Please ensure you replace both batteries at the same time with identical specifications. Mixing old and new batteries or using different capacities will reduce performance and may cause charging imbalance. Always disconnect the UPS from mains power before opening the compartment.
Optional RJ45 and RJ11 ports are available for protecting network and telephone connections. These ports filter surges on data lines to prevent damage to connected networking equipment. Please specify your requirement when ordering, as this feature is not included in the standard configuration.
The AVR circuit design is identical across the AK series, providing the same boost and buck regulation range (81-145V or 145-275V). The primary difference is the power handling capacity. The AK-1000VA's AVR components are rated for higher current, allowing it to regulate voltage for loads up to 600W without additional stress on the circuit.
The AK 1000VA Line Interactive UPS is built with a laminated EI-type transformer and high-quality power components rated for 10+ years of continuous operation under normal conditions. The batteries typically require replacement every 3 to 5 years, but the electronics and transformer are designed to outlast multiple battery replacement cycles, making this a long-term investment for your power protection needs.
