The device houses two 3.7V 2600mAh 18650 lithium batteries (with optional 5000mAh/5200mAh upgrades available), offering a total energy capacity of approximately 19.2Wh.

Under normal mains conditions, the UPS automatically charges the battery while supplying power directly to the load. During a power outage, it switches to battery power within milliseconds, ensuring connected devices do not reboot. Real-world testing shows that a typical 12V/1A router can operate for approximately 3 hours on this unit—sufficient for most temporary power outages.

The DC1837S is equipped with two DC output ports, each featuring a resettable thermal fuse. Combined with internal voltage regulation controlled by multiple CPUs and ICs, this design effectively protects against overcurrent, overheating, and short-circuit risks. 1. Can the DC1837S power two devices simultaneously?

Yes. Both output ports provide independent, regulated 12V power, provided the total power consumption does not exceed 18W (e.g., one 12V/1A router + one 12V/0.8A optical modem).

2. What happens if the power outage lasts longer than the backup time?

Once the battery discharges to the protection voltage, the UPS automatically cuts off the output to prevent over-discharge. When mains power is restored, the device automatically recharges and resumes power output without manual intervention.

3. Can the internal battery be replaced?

The 18W Mini DC UPS features a sealed, non-serviceable design; user replacement is not recommended. If battery degradation occurs, please contact after-sales support or have a professional replace the cells with identical 18650 specifications.

4. Can it be used with 9V or 5V devices?

This unit outputs a fixed 12V; if other voltages are required, please use a DC-DC step-down module.
